Martin Davis grew up in the Midlands and spent most of his working life as a solicitor in Gloucestershire. Now retired, he has been developing his talent as a photographer. The English landscape and its history have long been Martin’s interests, together with environmental concerns. These areas all combine within his reflections upon the recently discovered diaries of his farming ancestor Peter Davis.
