I am looking for any information about the Nichols family who used to own Chelmarsh Hall. The Nichols and the Marcy families go back to 1805, where Elizabeth Nichols married George Marcy.

Many thanks

Hi Adrian,
Do you have the Monumental Inscriptions for Chelmarsh as published by the Society?
There is a John NICHOLS Esq of Chelmarsh Hall who died in 1867 .........
Also, inside the Church there are three memorials to several NICHOLS.
Thomas, a Minister who died in 1654 and his wife Jon.
William who died in 1801, son of William and Mary. Also his wife Ann and their son John.

Regards, Gwynne
