I am looking for information on my GREEN roots in the Stottesdon area.
My Gt Grandfather John Green born c1831 in Stottesdon, 2x Gt Grand Father John born c1806, and 2x Gt Grandmother Hannah born c1804. Any help gratefully received.

If you look at the 1881 Census (on http://www.familysearch.org), you will find a John Green b. Billingsley, abt. 1840, which might be him.
You could also try looking on the IGI, via the same site (I tried, but it is down this morning).
