Looking at the online voters registers there seems to be about a dozen or so members of the HEWSON family living in and around Shrewsbury but I couldn't see any suggestion that there are any in the villages you mention.
Also try looking at the Shropshire BMD page for Births (up to 2011) & Marriages (up to 2018) to get a feel for the local activity.
