My ancestors originated from Cheswardine, my great great grandfather Abraham a bricklayer went to live in Birmingham in the early 1800's, one of his daughters Mary Ann sent to Tasmania in Australia for stealing a watch. I would like to trace the family further back if possible, any information would help.

Thank you very much for the information,the time and trouble you have gone to in finding this, some information ,I have some I don't have, I did find the birth for Samuel Harryman in the archives in Shrewsbury as 1697 at Cheswardine. Ancestry is very interesting through a site called Curious Fox I made contact with a descendant of Mary Harryman in Australia and we are in regular contact.
