hi all not been on here for ages.  nice to michael hulme still around.

have decided with a group of family members to start trying to authenticate our family history.

a member had researched and come up with the following

william partridge died in 14 feb 1841 age on cert 67, putting his birth as 1774.

at that time william was married to mary wynne, who was a widow and had been in the shrewsbury workhouse.

previously william had been married to a mary who had elizabeth baptised in meole brace in 1822 and caroline 1826 st marys shrewsbury.

we have found a marriage for william partridge and mary burguin in 1818, with a daughter anne in 1819.  i know from records that mary burguin died in 1829 in st marys, which fits in with our william.

we think previously william was married to pheobe morris in church pulverbatch in 1799, no children recorded and dying in 1817.

it fits in very nicely with our trees but is it correct.  does any one on here have phoebe morris or mary burguin in their tree.

thank you so much

hi all, i have researched and found that the above information is not correct.  a william partridge did mary a mary burguin but william was born in 1790 and died in 1845.  so definately not our william.  thank you
