Acton Scott Historic Working Farm Survey

Acton Scott Historic Working Farm offers an insight into rural life at the turn of the 19th Century. It was founded by Thomas Acton, who sought to keep alive the farming practices and traditions he grew up with. Shropshire Council would like to find out more about people’s experiences of visiting Acton Scott Historic Working Farm, which today offers demonstrations of period skills and visits from the wheelwright, farrier and blacksmith, providing a picture of life as it might have been on a Victorian country estate. The 19th Century Old School offers café facilities for visitors, there is a gift shop on site and regular special events. Shropshire Council would like to gather feedback and learn more about the type of experience visitors would like to have when spending time at Acton Scott Historic Working Farm in the future.
