Neil is a local historian interested in our industrial and transport heritage and has given a series of talks to societies in the Telford area. He has published a book on the fords and ferries on the Shropshire Severn.

Shropshire Family History Society will be having a small stand at the event, with a team of volunteer helpers, computers and books. They will also be selling a selection of Local Interest Books and Maps, some Family History Books and our own CDs.
Graham Bradbury from Shropshire Family History Society will be giving a talk “An Introduction to Family History” on Tuesday, 23rd February 2016 at 7.30 pm in All Saints Church, Baschurch. Entry will be £5 and will include light refreshments. Proceeds from the event will enable us to stage a Flower Festival on 23rd, 24th and 25th September 2016 to be held in All Saints Church, Baschurch, in order to raise urgently needed funds for repairs to the church roof.
