Rowland's 1st wife died in 1676. He later married Lady Anne CHILDE - whose husband died 1678.
Rowland's marriage to Anne CHILDE is noted in the introductory pages of a transcrption of Kinlet parish registers - he also notes 'my present wife' in a Will he made in 1680, So they married 1678-1680 but I have been unable to locate a marriege record in either Pontesbury (his home parish) or Kinlet (where the Childe family lived, and she is buried there. I would have thought there would be a marriage record for 'people of substance'. Am I missing something with my search?
