Sorry if this subject has been discussed previously but haven't been on this site for ages but thought that your members ought to know about this. I have an iPad and just over a week ago, I couldn't access my original census using iPad, so I emailed Ancestry about it. Spoke to them just now, turns out that this is correct as they have changed to Flashplayer and Apple do not support Flashplayer. I am so incensed about this and actually told them that as the sitename suggests, THEY ARE GOING BACK IN TIME !!!!! Anyone else had the same problem? If so, I suggest that you phone them too and complain. I pay a lot of money to Ancestry and don't expect to be told that I can no longer look at my original census. It means that if I want to see them, I have to now go onto my husbands P.C to do any family tree work. I ask you, this is ridiculous, isn't it? Angela

Whoops, think of it as me as having a senior moment! I posted this question on Cumberland Family History Society as well, well someone answered me but I then posted thanks on this site instead of that one !

Hi Angela, perhaps you could post the solution here that you received, now that you have brought the issue up? Who knows how many other Salopian Researches are having a similar problems.

Thanks

PS My Tablet seems to work fine on Ancestry

Yes, well Puffin do a free web browser that enabled me to access the original census free whereas couldn't access it on Google .
But, when I was accidentally on Ancestry yesterday going through Google, I found that now I COULD ACCESS IT , seems other people have complained too , enough for them to do something about it !

The Puffin browser recommended to Angela is also recommended in yesterday's Daily Telegraph by Rick Maybury, their computer writer. He says it is available free from the App Store. Hazel
