Hello Phil

The MI transcript of Condover churchyard was compiled in 1972-3 and the plan was also compiled about the same time but sometime in 1973 many of the gravestones were cleared.

The 1973 plan shows the gravestone you want.  If you enter the churchyard through the Lychgate and turn left along the inside of the fence your stone was originally No.7 of a row of 8.  I have no idea whether it is still there.  I am not aware of any photographs of Condover gravestones.

I did spend about an hour today, but no luck looked at all the stones in churchyard, and all arround the side walls, must be lost, pitty will try again at a later date, I am sure one is to be found.

thanks again PHIL
