Hello everyone
I have had a request for information via the SFHS Enquiries email. A lady is searching for any information on Henry Charles YOUELL (known as Harry). His wife is Emma (surname from first marriage is WILSON and maiden name is NEWBOLD). Harry was born in London on 4th June 1908 and died at the Royal Salop Infirmary on 26th April 1977. Address at the time of death was 29 Greyfriars, Oswestry. His widow was Emma YOUELL and there was also a daughter, possibly called Betty.
If anyone has any information please let me know. I have also been asked to look in the Shrewsbury Chronicle or Oswestry Advertiser for an obituary. I cannot get into the Archives at the moment. Grateful if anyone could look for me please.

Glad to say I have found Emma Youels after years of looking. She was born in Cambridgeshire and lived in Lancashire. She was actually the aunt of my mother's cousin Irene's stepfather. Irene thought she was the sister of her mother's uncle. Irene passsed away just before her 102nd birthday so I forgive her confusion. As is often the case with family history searches I found Emma on a census of someone else I was tracing.

I have been trying to find another Emma Youell for some time. She was the sister of my great grandmother Margaret Bayliss who was born in Ludlow in 1851. There is probably no connection but just in case anyone sees my Emma in passing I thought I would make a note of it on this site.
