So far I have found that three generations of my family were blacksmiths in Asterley, my 3xGreat grandfather William BREEZE (c1765-1832), my 2x great grandfather John BREEZE (1811-1870) and my great grandfather Edward William BREEZE (1854-1933). Thanks to your Monuments Directory for St Georges, Pontesbury I found and recently view a gravestone for three of my family there.
William married Susannah COOPER in Pontesbury in 1808 and John BREEZE married Martha GRIFFITHS (c1816 - 1864) probably in the 1830s and their first child (William, one of those buried in Pontesbury) was born c1837 and died 1 Sept 1839 but I am struggling to find any record of their marriage, can you help please?

Don't know whether you are on Ancestry but there's a Pallots marriage to Susanna Cooper for 1808 on it, the actual record ! I noticed it said SUSAN COOPER !

Thanks I will investigate this shortly, the gravestone at Pontesbury clearly links William to John and Martha and two of their children who died in infancy. His (William's age) on ther gravestone states 69 years and this does not tie up with dob that i originally found. Another line of investigation required !!
