Mary was christened on 3rd September 1769 at Clun. The familysearch.org website lists her parents as being John Morgan and Elizabeth. I'm trying to determine if they were John Morgan and Elizabeth Edwards married at Bettws-y-Crwyn on 22nd February 1747 or John Morgan and Elizabeth FRANCIS married 25th April 1751 at Clun. I live in Kent, so don't have ready access to the Parish Registers to see if they have any information to clarify which couple were Mary's parents.

Several children were born to a John Morgan and Elizabeth in the period 1752-69, but none immediately prior to 1752, so a second question is : Was this the same John Morgan in both marriages (ie did Elizabeth (nee Edwards) die between 1747-51, and John re-marry?

The usual form is to ask Shropshire Archives for searches, or a paid agent. Former charge £25 per hour.

But - Clun registers on fiche at Archives today:

25.4.1751 John Morgan and Elizabeth Francis both of this parish married by banns. [ Note, as before 1754 no signatures or witnesses needed on the register. Note also that widowers frequently, if not generally, married by licence rather than banns ] .

Bettws-y-Crwyn. Archives do not hold any registers for the early period, and there is merely a typescript transcript taken from a photostate taken at National Library of Wales. small parish with few entries:

22.2.1747-8 John Morgan of Beguildy [ over the river in Rads ] and Elizabeth Edwards of this parish married.

No Morgan burials in either Clun or B-Y-C 1747- 1751 inclusive (using a transcript for Clun). As regards the 1769 bap, there is no further detail beyond what you have.
