I believe that an ancestor, Ann STARK, was born in Uffington abt. 1774/5.  She was Quaker, though I'm not sure that she was born into a Quaker family.  Any direction with finding vital records?  Can anyone tell me the Quaker meeting the family may have attended?  Father is William STARK(yeoman), mother Mary.  Thanks for any help.

Hello

There is a photograph of the former Quaker Meeting House in Shrewsbury on Janice Cox excellent Shropshire's Nonconformist Chapels web site.

If you go to the Shropshire Archives web site and scroll down nearly to the bottom of the page you will find a heading 'Online services and downloads' which includes 'nonconformist registers 2001 version.pdf'.  If you search this for 'Society of Friends' (Use Edit --> Find or Ctrl-F and put friends in the search box) you will find a few references.
