Yes it is Ryton Shifnal, I'm still after a photograph, I managed to find out the name of the cottage by visting Shropshire Archives and looking on the electrol role. Do you know how I can get intouch with Ryton Parish Council?

I presume Ford Cottage is located in Ryton near Shifnal.
You should be aware that there are two other Rytons in Shropshire - Ryton near Condover and Ruyton-XI-Towns.
