NONELEY or NUNNALLY, Richard landed in the Massachusetts Colony at Boston in 1635, After a period of time, we assume it was served as a indentured servant/apprentice to recomp his passage, he ended up in Henrico County, Virginia Colony shortly after his marriage and birth of a son - Richard. Sometime during the period of time of the Civil War the Nunnally name split into two separate racial paths. I know from past travels that there are many still in Virginia, and since the '40s in California. I am the survivng son of William Leonard Nunnally who migrated from Arkansas in the 30's to Washington. His half brother Sam Nunnally's offspring are still in Texas.

Short update on where the NUNNALLY family has progressed to; I have one son; Samuel Dean NUNNALLY who resides in Kalispell, Montana, who has a daughter- Lexi Grace and a son Samuel JR. I am retired with 39 years of Army service, several branches, retired nurse, retired wheat rancher and currently on Snohomish County Farm Bureau board of directors, politically active and like my distant forefather could be considered a separatist at heart.

I live Loppington and have done some background work on NONELEY Family. Our Parish Registers only go back as far as 1664 although there are some earlier records (presumably Bishop's Transcripts) on Find My Past. The NONELEY family moved from Noneley Township in Loppington Parish in mid 1850s.

I should be very interested in your source for Richard NONELEY b1615 Loppington please. I have not come across him before.

Have you come across Collins Nix also from America who visited here last year researching the same family with an ancestors who emigrated early 1600s?

If you would like copies of what I have late1600 and 1700s and photos of monuments in church, please email edge@churchcott1.freeserve.co.uk
